Assistant Chief Bill Sorrells

Assistant Chief Bill Sorrells has served with the Gallatin Police Department since 1985. He began his career in law enforcement in 1983 and was promoted to Assistant Chief of Police in 2011. Chief Sorrells has also been involved with the Sumner County Emergency Response Team, where he was promoted to Team Commander in 2009.2

In addition to his role as Assistant Chief, Sorrells has taken on various other roles, including being a preacher, lawyer, and teacher.
